Monday, November 11, 2019I just heard of Steve's passing, and am incredibly saddened by it. I only knew Steve from our times playing sand volleyball together, but I really enjoyed when he came and played, as he was always filled with positive energy and lifted everyone's spirits up. I am not surprised to see other posts talking about those same characteristics at work, in church, etc. He was the real deal, completely genuine and I will really miss seeing him, his laughter and his big hat in the sand. Rest in peace Steve, it was an honor getting to know you and you will be missed by many.

Tuesday, November 5, 2019Steve Happ was the nicest man I knew, perhaps the nicest man I will ever know. He was a true gentleman, when there seems to be so few now. One of the nicest things someone ever said to me was when Steve said he was praying for me when I was awaiting the results of a medical test. I was a little embarrassed to tell him how much I appreciated his prayers, but now I am so glad I did. My only regret is that I did not get a chance to pray for him in his time of need. I will miss him. We all will miss him.
