Tuesday, April 17, 2018Very sorry to read about Marilyn's passing. Although I have not seen her in many years, I still remember her as a warm, friendly person. I was surprised to read about her many talents and accomplishments as I was aware of only about half of them. My heartfelt condolences to Don, my ex-INA/Cigna co-worker, and the girls (who were young when I knew them) and their families.

Wednesday, April 4, 2018What an amazing number of accomplishments Marilyn achieved in her life. I had no idea she was so prolific. She was such a bright light; her sparkling eyes were always welcoming and her heart was truly a hearth. Going in and out of your house as I visited during Harriet’s final days gave me a glimpse of the warmth and love in your family. I cherish that time I had with all of you. I will never forget arriving at Harriet’s funeral and seeing Marilyn. We were composed until we were within arm’s length and then our grief flowed. I have carried Marilyn in my heart over the years and was thinking of her in November of 2016 when out of the blue I received a call from her to create a portrait of her parents. Working with her on this project reminded me of what a pleasure it was to be with her. Her vision, humor and encouragement were always at the ready. I will miss her and will never forget the joy and kindness she spread about her. Holding you all in my prayers.
