She had five siblings: Margaret, Hanson, Louise, Ashton, and James. She departed this life to go home to the Lord on October 3, 2018. She was 94 years old.
When she was a young child, her father moved the family to Los Angeles where he worked as a chauffeur, often transporting movie stars & celebrities. The family eventually moved back to Indiana.
She attended Crispus Attucks high school in Indianapolis, studying to be a dietician. She loved to cook and you could always be guaranteed a home cooked meal. She worked at Trumbull County Nursing Home in Brookfield, Ohio for about 25 years.
She met the love of her life, Alphonzia, and married in January 7, 1945 at the age of 21. They settled in McDonald, Ohio and were married for 42 years. Sabra often had a big smile on her face and genuinely enjoyed people.
